March Update

Last month we took lucas to our local vet to get his yearly vaccinations…rabies and the dhpp vaccine. We got home and he started vomiting everywhere and face started to swell. We called the vet and she told us to come back in. He was having a allergic reaction. I started to think that its not necessary for Lucas to get his annual vaccinations anymore. At least not every year or perhaps not give such a big dosages.  I mean I never let him around other dogs…cause the risk of hurting his back again. His immune system probably isnt as strong as it was before. I heard that rabies shot is only suppose to be every 3 years, but in the state of Indiana its a law to get it every year. Anyways…everything else has been good. Still hungry more then ever. His right leg still drags a bit…just something we are going to have to accept and just hope it gets better in time, cause he still is in his recovery stage.
