If they did, that is probably what caused the allergic reaction. Your vet show know this as ours have told us from the get-go they would never give doxies this shot, but one time a new tech accidentally gave it to our Ellie, and her face swelled so bad that she look like a Chow! Thankfully, it happened while we wer still there, and they gave her antihistimine, but I was VERY upset. I hope your lovely doxie is mending well! :-) Did they give him the vaccine for leptospirosis?
